Bishop | Author & Pastor | Leadership Training | Lasting Revival in Local Churches

BISHOP WELLINGTON BOONE is an author and researcher who empowers leaders to seek God for consecration and study the Bible and history while keeping eternity in view. George Barna and Harry Jackson Jr. cited him in High Impact African American Churches for his leadership in racial reconciliation as one of the first African Americans to break into a national multiracial ministry arena. A spiritual father to pastors and leaders for over 50 years, he is chief prelate of the Fellowship of International Churches, president of the Boone Foundation, and former trustee of Regent University, which houses his teaching archives. Bishop Boone and his wife Margarette are on a mission to transform lives, and their focus is developing consecrated leaders for local, national, and international ministry.
Wellington Boone began his ministry in 1973 with his wife Katheryn, who went home to the Lord in 2022 after 48 years of marriage and ministry. He married Margarette in June 2025 and a new adventure began. They have already ministered together in many states and nations and recently returned from Bangkok, Thailand. This followed a meeting of European church leaders of the Elijah's Bread Ministries in Hoorn, Netherlands.
Below is the U.S. Delegation from the Fellowship of International Churches in Hoorn with Bishop J. Alan Neal. Bishop Boone and his leaders founded FOIC in 1994 to expand the opportunity for training in leadership and Christlikeness that had produced strong leaders and families during his first 20 years in ministry.

For 50+ years Bishop Boone has been a father to leaders who seek God with abandon and live with conviction and humility in marriage, ministry, and holiness in everyday life. He is called by God to forge Christlike character in faithful and consecrated men and women, empower local churches, and provide systems of practical discipleship that equip Christians for eternal life.
