Words to Say with the Eightfold Anointing

Head

I anoint my head so that I will have the mind of Christ, that I will mind spiritual things, that I will be transformed by the renewing of my mind, that my thoughts will be His thoughts and my ways will be His ways.

Mouth

I anoint my mouth for words of life, because death and life are in the power of the tongue. With my mouth I shall decree a thing, and it shall be established. I will speak no idle words, because Jesus said by my words I will be justified, and by my words I will be condemned. I anoint myself so that my words will be acceptable to God. That they will bless, and not curse. That I will represent Jesus in what I say, but never misrepresent Him. That I will speak the Word and live the Word that I speak. That I will pray continually, so that His presence will be always with me.

Eyes

I anoint my eyes so that I may have vision to see into the spirit world. That I may see the destiny of God. That I may see by revelation the will of God and the ways of God. That I will see what He sees from heaven. That I will see people not where they are, but where He has ordained them to be.

Ears

I anoint my ears so that I may hear His voice. That I might become pregnant with the seed of His reality. That my ears might be sensitive to spiritual things. That I might become pregnant with vision for myself, my family, and the generation.

Nose

I anoint my nose so that I will have discernment, wisdom, and judgment in my relationships with others, and know what is right before the Lord. Christ is made unto me wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. If I lack wisdom, I will receive it from the Lord.

Hands

I anoint my hands that I might lay hands on others to bless and heal. That I might use my hands to anoint kings and the five-fold ministry into office. That I may work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day, because when the night comes, no man can work. That my work will bear fruit into eternity.

Feet

I anoint my feet that I might walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. That I may walk in His footsteps. That I may walk with the weight of glory in my life, so that my footsteps might leave an imprint that the generation can follow. That my walk might be pleasing to God, in lowliness and meekness. That my life might be modeled after. That I would not walk in any place or destiny that is not ordained for me. That my walk and my lifestyle would take me into His perfect will forever.

Body

I anoint my body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit, for I am not my own. I was bought with a price. Therefore I will glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which are God's. I will fast and live a fasted lifestyle.

I am anointed today to serve God and man, and to represent Jesus to the world! This is the day which the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it!
