Bishop Wellington Boone and his leaders teach and pray weekdays at 5:00 AM on a telephone conference call, "Together In Prayer."
When Bishop Boone and his leadership team of bishops and pastors from The Father's House in Norcross, Georgia, launched 5:00 AM prayer by telephone conference recently, it was the day before a momentous presidential election in U.S. history. The following day, November 4, 2008, when Senator Barack Obama was elected as the first Black president, the leaders had an opportunity to give wisdom and insight to those who had not voted for him because of their biblical principles.

Regarding President-Elect Barack Obama, Bishop Garland Hunt reminded Christians of the Bible's exhortation to pray for and honor leaders. Bishop Boone explained the spiritual significance of someone who was not considered qualified rising to power. God can promote whom He will for His own purposes. Bishop Boone said, "God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called." This led him and others on the line to pray that the future president will become a man of God who leads the nation not only naturally but also spiritually in the days ahead through a fresh supernatural encounter with God.
We need a strong church now more than ever, they said, and one of the ways that the church will become stronger is to be unified around the Word of God and prayer. Beginning this week, prayer calls will be open to all. Callers can enter at any time during the hour from 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM without interrupting the teaching and prayer because after initial greetings the voices of all but the leaders are muted during the call.

Bishop Boone says, "You are not coming on this line to stay the same. You are coming for a prophetic word and the prayer of agreement and manifestation in your life.
